Government-Appointed Sheikh of al-Azhar Requests His Own Post be Put to Public Election

Back in March 2010, Egypt's former president Hosni Mubarak named Ahmed el-Tayeb the new grand sheik of Cairo's Al-Azhar University and Mosque, taking over from Sheik Mohammed Sayed Tantawi, who died of a heart attack after heading Al-Azhar for nearly 14 years.

    އެންމެހައި ޙަމްދު ޘަނާއެއް ޙައްޤުވަނީ މިކާއިނާތުގައިވާ ހުރިހައި އެއްޗެއް ހައްދަވައި އިންސާނުންގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ޤާނޫނަކީ ކީރިތި ޤުރުއާން ކަމުގައި ލެއްވެވި ގަދަފަދަ ކީރިތިވަންތަ ﷲ ތަޢާލާއަށެވެ. ޞަލަވާތާއި ސަލާމް ލެއްވުން އެދި ދުޢާ ކުރަނީ އެއިލާހުގެ ޤާނޫނާއިގެން ވަޑައިގެންނެވި މާތް ނަބިއްޔާ މުޙައްމަދު (ޞައްލަﷲ ޢަލައިހި ވަސައްލަމް) އަށެވެ. އަދި އެނަބިއްޔާގެ އާލު ބައެތުންނާއި އެންމެހައި މިތުރު ޞަޙާބީން މިދުޢާގައި ޝާމިލް ކުރަމެވެ.

    ﷲ ތަޢާލާ އަކީ މިދުނިޔެ ފެށިގެން ނިމެންދެން އަދި އަދި އޭގެ ކުރީގައާއި ފަހުގައިވެސް ވާނޭ ހުރިހައި ކަމެއް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ އިލާހެވެ. އިންސާނާތޯއެވެ؟ އެއިލާހުގެ ޚަލްޤުތަކުންގެ ތެރެއިން ނިކަމެތި މަޚްލޫގެކެވެ. ވިސްނުމާއި ބުއްދި ދެއްވިފައިވީ ކަމުގައި ވީނަމަވެސް ކޮންމެ އިންސާނަކީވެސް އުނި މީހެކެވެ. އިންސާނާގެ ޠަބީޢަތުގައިވަނީ އަމިއްލަ ނަފްސު އެދޭ ކަންތައްތައް ޙާޞިލް ކުރުމެވެ. އާދެ ކޮންމެ ކަމެއްގައިވެސް އަމިއްލަ އެދުން ކުރިއަށް ނެރުމެވެ. ތިމާ ބޭނުން ކަމެއް ކޮށްލުމަކީ ނުވަތަ ޙާޞިލް ކުރުމަކީ މަޤްޞަދަކަށް ވެފައިވާއިރު، އޭގެ ސަބަބުން އަނެކުންނަށް ވާނޭ އުނދަގުލަކަށް ނުވަތަ ގެއްލުމަކަށް، މަދު މީހަކު މެނުވީ ނުބަލައެވެ. އަދި ހަމަ އެހެންމެ އެކަމަކީ ރަނގަޅު ނުވަތަ ނުރަނގަޅު، ޙަރާމް ނުވަތަ ޙަލާލް ކަމެއްތޯވެސް ބަލާލުމެއް ނެތެވެ. ތިމާ ބޭނުންވާ ކަންތައް ޙާޞިލް ކުރެވެންޏާ ނިމުނީއެވެ. ކުރުގޮތަކަށް ބަޔާންކުރާނަމަ އިންސާނާއަކީ އަމިއްލަ އެދުމުން ފޯވެފައިވާ މީހެކެވެ.

 To what extent is Islam concerned with knowledge?

Praise be to Allaah. 

Allaah created man and provided him with the tools for acqruiring knowledge, namely hearing, sigh tand wisdom. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): 

“And Allâh has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allâh)

[al-Nahl 16:78] 

Islam is the religion of knowledge.

ކީރިތި ރަސޫލާ صلى الله عليه وسلم ގެ ޢީދު މީލާދު ފާހަގަ ކުރުމަކީ ހުއްދަކަމެއް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

ލިޔުނީ: ނިމާލް މުޙައްމަދު

ﷲ ސުބުޙާނަހޫ ވަތަޢާލާ އިންސާނުން ޚަލްޤުކުރެއްވުމަށްފަހު އެބައިމީހުން އުޅެންވީގޮތާއި އުޅެގެންނުވާނެގޮތް ބަޔާންކޮށްދެއްވުމަށްޓަކައި ރަސޫލުބޭކަލުންނާއި ނަބީބޭކަލުން ފޮނުއްވެވިއެވެ. އަދި އެބޭކަލުންނަށް ފޮތްތައް ބާވާލައްވައި، މީސްތަކުންނަށް އެފޮތްތަކުގައިވާ އަމުރުތަކާއި ނަހީތައް ބަޔާންކޮށްދެއްވުމަށް އެންގެވިއެވެ. މިގޮތުގެ މަތީން އަޅުގަނޑުމެންގެ މާތްނަބިއްޔާ محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم މި ފަނާވެދަނިވި ދުނިޔެއާއި އަލްވަދާޢު ކިޔާފައިވަނީ މީސްތަކުންނަށް ހުރިހާކަމެއް ބަޔާންކޮށްދެއްވާފައެވެ. ހެޔޮ ކަމެއްނަމަ އެކަމަކަށް އަމުރުކުރައްވާ އިރުޝާދު ދެއްވާފައެވެ. އަދި ކޮންމެ ނުބައިކަމަކަށްމެ ހުޝިޔާރުކުރައްވާ އިންޒާރުދެއްވާފައެވެ.

ދީނުގެތެރެއަށް އިތުރުކުރާ ބިދުޢަތަކަކީ މިގޮތުން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ނިހާޔަތަށް އިންޒާރުކުރައްވާ ނަހީކުރައްވާފައިވާ ކަންތައްތަކެކެވެ. އެހެނީ ﷲ ތަޢާލާ ކީރިތި ޤުރުއާނުގައި ބަސްފުޅު ވަޙީކުރައްވާ އަންގަވާފައިވަނީ އިސްލާމްދީން އެ އިލާހު މީސްތަކުންނަށް  ދީނެއްކަމުގައި ރުހިވޮޑިގެންނަވައި އެ ދީން އެބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ފުރިހަމަކޮށްދެއްވާފަކަމެވެ.

قال الله تعالى: (الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْأِسْلامَ دِيناً) (المائدة: 3)

މާނައީ: "މިއަދު ތިޔަބައި މީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދީން ފުރިހަމަ ކޮށްދެއްވާފީމެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަން އިލާހުގެ ނިޢުމަތްތަށް ފުރިހަމަކޮށްދެއްވާ އިސްލާމްދީން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދީނެއްކަމުގައި ރުހިވޮނޑިގެންފީމެވެ. "

Celebrating the Mawlid is an innovation introduced by the Shi’a Faatimids after the three best centuries in order to corrupt the religion of the Muslims. If a person does anything in order to draw closer to Allaah which was not done by the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or enjoined by him, and was not done by the khaleefahs who succeeded him, this action implies that he is accusing the Messenger of not explaining the religion to the people, and that he disbelieves in the words of Allaah (interpretation of the meaning):

 “This day, I have perfected your religion for you”

[al-Maa'idah 5:3]

  because he is adding something extra and claiming that it is a part of the religion, but the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not bring this. >> Read More

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

إن الحمد لله نحمده ونستعينه ونستغفره ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا ومن سيئات أعمالنا، من يهده الله فلا مضل له ومن يضلل فلا هادي له. وأشهد أن لا إله إلاّ الله وأن محمد رسول الله, وصلىّ الله وسلّم على نبيِّنا محمّد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلّم.

الله سبحانه وتعالى ކީރިތި ޤުރުއާނުގައި ވަޙީީ ކުރައްވައި އަންގަވާފައި ވެއެވެ:

"وَلَنْ تَرْضَى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلا النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلا نَصِيرٍ" (البقرة:120)

މިއާޔަތުގެ މާނައަކީ: "އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން ޔަހޫދީންނާއި ނަޞާރާއިންވެސް، އެއުރެންގެ މިއްލަތަށް (އެބަހީ އެއުރެންގެ ދީނަށް) ކަލޭގެފާނު ތަބާވެއްޖައުމަށް ދާންދެން ދުވަހަކުވެސް ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް ނުރުހޭނެތެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން ތެދުމަގަކީ ހަމައެކަނި الله سبحانه وتعالىގެ މަގެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނަށް الله تعالىގެ ކިބައިން ޢިލްމު އައުމަށްފަހު އެއުރެންގެ ހަވާ ނަފްސުގެ ހެއްލުންތަކަށް ތަބާވެއްޖެނަމަ، الله تعالىގެ ޙަޟްރަތުން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެއްވެސް އެހީތެރިއަކު އަދި ނަޞްރުދޭނޭ މީހަކުވެސް ނުވެއެވެ." الله سبحانه وتعالىއަށް ކުއްތަންވުން (ގާތްވުން)

 إن الحمد لله نحمده ونستعينه ونستغفره ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا ومن سيئات أعمالنا، من يهده الله فلا مضل له ومن يضلل فلا هادي له. وأشهد أن لا إله إلاّ الله وأن محمد رسول الله, وصلىّ الله وسلّم على نبيِّنا محمّد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلّم.

ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އެންމެހާ ޙަމްދު ޘަނާއެއްވަނީ الله سبحانه وتعالى އަށެވެ. އަހަރެމެން الله سبحانه وتعالىއަށް ޙަމްދު ކުރަމެވެ. އަދި އެފަރާތުގެ މަދަދާއި ފާފަ ފުއްސެވުމާއި އެދެމެވެ. އަހަރެމެންގެ ނަފްސުތަކާއި އަހަރެމެންގެ ޢަމަލުތަކުގެ ނުބައިކަމުން الله سبحانه وتعالىގެ ރައްކާތެރިކަންއެދެމެވެ. الله سبحانه وتعالى، އެމީހަކު ހިދާޔަތަށް (ތެދުމަގަށް) ގެންނަވައިފި މީހަކު މަގުފުރައްދާނޭ މީހަކު ނުވެއެވެ. އަދި الله سبحانه وتعالى، އެމީހަކު މަގުފުރައްދަވައިފި މީހަކު ހިދާޔަތަށް ގެންނާނެ މީހަކު ނުވެއެވެ. الله سبحانه وتعالى ފިޔަވައި (ޙައްޤު) އެހެން އިލާހަކު ނުވާ ކަމަށާއި މުޙައްމަދުގެފާނީ ﷲގެ ރަސޫލު ކަމަށް އަޅު ހެކިވަމެވެ. الله سبحانه وتعالىގެ ޞަލަޥާތާއި ސަލާމް، އަޅަމެންގެ ނަބިއްޔާ މުޙައްމަދުގެފާނާއި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އާލުންނާއި އަޞްޙާބުންނަށް ލައްވާށިއެވެ.

Abu Bakr as-Saidalaani reported that he heard Salim bin Mansur bin ‘Ammar say,

“Upon seeing my father in a dream, I asked him, ‘What did your Lord do with you?’

He answered : ‘Indeed, my Lord drew me near and close and he said to me:

‘O evil Shaykh (old man), Do you know why I forgave you?’

I said: ‘No, O my Lord.’

He said : ‘You sat before people in a gathering one day and you made them cry.

Among them was one of my slaves who had never before cried from fear of me and so I forgave him and forgave everyone in the gathering for him; and you were among the ones I donated to him (among the ones that I forgave for him)’

It is not permissible to elect to city councils etc those who mock the Islamic religion

  Is it permissible for a Muslim to elect to city councils or any other kind of council someone who believes in communism or mocks religion or embraces nationalism and regards it as a religion?.

Praise be to Allaah.  

It is not permissible for a Muslim to elect to city councils or any other kind of council someone who is known to be a communist or to mock the Islamic religion or to believe in nationalism and regard it as a religion, because by electing him he is accepting him as his representative and helping him to be in a position where he could spread evil or cause corruption, and help those who agree with him and his beliefs. That position may enable him to harm those who differ from him and deprive them of their rights or some of them. It is also a way of encouraging him to persist in his false beliefs and implement them as much as he wants.

The virtue of Friday

 Which day of the week do you consider most holy and your sabboth?

Praise be to Allaah.

It should be noted that the entire life of a Muslim is worship of Allaah; there is no special day for worship, for the Muslim is worshipping Allaah all the time. But there is a day which Allaah has made special for this ummah (nation), the nation of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and which Allaah has favoured above all the other days of the week. That day is Friday. There are a number of hadeeths which speak of the virtue of this day, including the following:  

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “We (Muslims) are the last (of the nations) but (we will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection,  although the former nations were given their scriptures before us and we were given our after them. And this (Friday) is the day concerning which they disputed. So Allaah guided us (to it), tomorrow (i.e., Saturday) is for the Jews and the day after (i.e., Sunday) is for the Christians.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-Jumu’ah, 847).

ހިތް ގައުވަނީ ކީއްވެ؟

ޢަބްދު ﷲ މުޙައްމަދު އިބްރާހިމް

އަލްއިމާމް އިބްނުލް ޤައްޔިމު ރަޙިމަހު ﷲ ވިދާޅުވެފައިވެއެވެ. ހިތްގާވަނީ ހަތަރުކަމެއް ހައްދު ފަހަނައަޅައިގެންނެވެ. ކެއުން، ނިދުން، ބޭކާރު ވާހަކަ ދެއްކުން، ވިޔާނުދާ މީހުންނާ އެކު އުޅުން.

ބަލިވެފައިވާ ހަށިގަނޑަށް ކެޔުމާއި ބުއިމުން މަންފާ ނުކުރާ ފަދައިން ޝަހުވަތާއި އެދުންވެރިކަމުން ބަލިމަޑުކަން ޖެހިފައިވާ ހިތަކަށް ނަޞީޙަތާއި ހަނދުމަކޮށްދިނުމަކުން ފައިދާއެއް ނުކުރާނެއެވެ.

އަދި ވިދާޅުވެފައިވެއެވެ. ހިތްސާފުކުރަން އެދޭމީހާ އެމީހެއްގެ ޝަހުވަތްތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް މާތް ﷲ އަށް އިސްކަން ދޭށެވެ. އެހެނީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން ޝަހުވަތްތަކުން ވަށާލެވިފައިވާ ހިތް ޝަހުވަތްތަކާ ގުޅިފައިހުރި މިންވަރަކުން މާތް ﷲ އާ ކުއްތަންވުން ދުރުވާނެއެވެ.

އަދި ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ހިތް ފަސާދަވަނީ ބިރެއްނެތި، ކަމެއް ޖެހިދާނެ ކަމާމެދު ފަރުވާލެއް ނުބެހެއްޓުމާއި، ޣާފިލުކަމުންނެވެ. އަދި ހިތް އިޞްލާޙުކޮށް ދިރުވައިދެނީ ( ﷲ އަށް ) ބިރުވެތިވުމާއި އެކަލާންގެ ހަނދުމަކުރުމުންނެވެ.

އިބްރާހިމުލް ޚަވާޞް ވިދާޅުވެފައިވެއެވެ. ހިތުގެ ފަރުވާ ފަސްކަމެއްގައިވެއެވެ.

1-       މާނައަށް ވިސްނުމާއެކު ޤުރުއަން ކިޔެވުން

2-       ބަނޑު ހުސްވުން

3-       ރޭގަނޑުގެ ނަމާދު (ދަމު ނަމާދު) ކުރުން

4-       ދަން ދެބައިވުމަށްފަހު ﷲ އަށް ކުއްތަންވުން

5-       ހެޔޮލަފާ ޞާލިޙް އަޅުންނާއެކު އުޅުން

The Dangers of Dispute and Differing

 

Narrated Ibn Mas’ud (ra): I heard a person reciting a (Quranic) Verse in a certain way, and I had heard the Prophet (saws) reciting the same Verse in a different way.

So I took him to the Prophet (saws) and informed him of that but I noticed the sign of disapproval on his face, and then he said, "Both of you are correct, so don’t differ, for the nations before you differed, so they were destroyed."
