Learn Wisdom from the "Wise Reminder"

Allah describes the Qur’an as being wise: “This which We recite unto you is a revelation and a wise reminder.” [Sūrah Āl `Imrān: 58]; and: “(I swear) by the wise Qur’an” [Sūrah YāSīn: 2]

We can discern two reasons for this:

1. It is a manifestation of Allah's wisdom that He sent to us the teaching revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the Qur’an.

2. The religious teachings that Allah has set forth for us in the Qur’an are full of wisdom.

The Wise Qur’an contains teachings that can help remedy many of the problems we face today, whether those problems are social, economic, or political. What the Qur’an provides us with are the general governing principles by which we will be rightly guided in all walks of life. However, not everyone will be equally effective in applying these general principles to their practical experience. For instance, scholars of Islamic jurisprudence study the Qur’an to derive from it legal principles and apply them to practical legal problems.

އޭ ދަރިފުޅާއެވެ

އޭ ދަރިފުޅާއެވެ!

އަދި لقمان ގެފާނު އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލުންނަށް نصيحة ދެއްވަމުން ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އޭ ދަރިފުޅާއެވެ! اللَّه އަށް ތިބާ شريك ނުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، شريك ކުރުމަކީ ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ އަނިޔާއެކެވެ.

އިންސާނާއަށް، އޭނާގެ މައިންބަފައިންނަށް (ހެޔޮކޮށް ހިތުމަށް) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ وصية ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އޭނާގެ މައިމީހާ ބަލި ނިކަމެތިކަމުގެ މައްޗަށް، ބަލި ނިކަމެތި ކަމާއެކު މާބަނޑުގައި އޭނާ އުފުލިއެވެ. އަދި އޭނާ ކިރު ތުނބުން ވީއްލުންވަނީ، ދެއަހަރުގައެވެ. (ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ أمر ކުރެއްވީމެވެ.) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށާއި، ތިބާގެ މައިންބަފައިންނަށް شكر ކުރާށެވެ! އެނބުރި رجوع ވުން ވަނީ، ހަމަ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއާމެދު، ތިބާއަށް އެނގުމެއްނުވާ އެއްޗެއް شريك ކުރުމަށް، އެ ދެމީހުން ގަދައަޅައިފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، ތިބާ އެ ދެމީހުންނަށް ކިޔަމަންނުވާށެވެ! އަދި ދުނިޔޭގައި ހެޔޮގޮތުގައި އެ ދެމީހުންނާއެކު އުޅޭށެވެ! އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް ކިޔަމަންވެ، رجوع ވީ މީހުންގެ މަގަށް تبع ވާށެވެ! ދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެނބުރި رجوع ވުން ވަނީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ. ފަހެ، އޭރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކޮށްއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ خبر ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އަންގަވާހުށީމެވެ.

އޭ ދަރިފުޅާއެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެ عمل އަކީ ރެވިއޮށްޓަރެއްގެ ބަރުދަންހުރި عمل އެއް ކަމުގައިވިޔަސް، ހިލައެއްގެ ތެރޭގައިވިޔަސް، ނުވަތަ އުޑުތަކުގައިވިޔަސް، ނުވަތަ ބިމުގެ ތެރޭގައިވިޔަސް (قيامة ދުވަހުން) اللَّه އެ عمل އެއް ގެންނަވާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، އޯގާވަންތަކަން ބޮޑު، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

އޭ ދަރިފުޅާއެވެ! ތިބާ ނަމާދު قائم ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް أمر ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ނުބައިކަންތައް ނަހީކުރާށެވެ! ތިބާޔަށްޖެހޭ مصيبة އަށް ކެތްކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންވަނީ، عزم ކަނޑައަޅަންޖެހޭ ކަންތައްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

އަދި މީސްތަކުންނަށް كبر ވެރިވެ، ތިބާގެ ކޯތާފަތް އަނބުރައިނުލާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ: މޫނު އަނބުރައި ނުލާށެވެ!) އަދި ބޮޑާވެގެންވާ حال، ބިމުގައި ނުހިނގާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، كبر ވެރިވެ، فخر ވެރިވާ އެއްވެސް މީހަކުދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

އަދި ތިބާ ހިނގާ ހިނގުމުގައި މެދުމިނަށް ހިނގާށެވެ! އަދި ތިބާގެ އަޑު މަޑުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޑުތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެންމެ ހުތުރުވެގެންވާ އަޑަކީ حمار ގެ އަޑުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ [٢:١٥٢]
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ [٢:١٥٣]

وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ [٢:١٥٤]

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ [٢:١٥٥]

الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ [٢:١٥٦]

أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ [٢:١٥٧]

152. Therefore Remember Me (by praying, glorifying, etc.). I will Remember you, and be grateful to Me (for My countless Favours on you) and never be ungrateful to Me.

153. O You who believe! seek help In patience and As-Salât (the prayer). Truly! Allâh is with As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).

154. and Say not of those who are killed In the Way of Allâh, "They are dead." Nay, they are living, but You perceive (it) not.

155. and Certainly, we shall test You with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).

156. Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! to Allâh we belong and Truly, to Him we shall return."

Abraham's 'lies'

It is related from Anas b. Mâlik that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, regarding the Day of Resurrection:

They will approach Abraham (to intercede for them) but he will say: “I am not for it.”

He will mention three lies that he spoke and then say: “Instead, go to Moses…” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (7440) and Sahîh Muslim (193)]

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explains to us the nature of these lies, saying:

ليلةالقدر

ليلةالقدر

بِّسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ [٩٧:١]

ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ قرآن ބާވައިލެއްވީ ليلةالقدر ވިލޭރޭގައެވެ.

 

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ [٩٧:٢]

އަދި ليلةالقدر ވިލޭރެޔަކީ، ކޮންރެޔެއްކަން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އަންގައިދިނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ [٩٧:٣]

ليلةالقدر ވިލޭރޭ، އެއްހާސް މައްސަރަށްވުރެ ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ.

تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ [٩٧:٤]

ملائكة ންނާއި، جبريل ގެފާނު އެބޭކަލުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ إذن ފުޅާއެކު، ހުރިހާ أمر ފުޅަކާއިގެން އެރޭ ފައިބައިވަޑައިގަންނަވާނެތެވެ.

 

سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ [٩٧:٥]

އެއީ فجر ގެ އަލިކަން ފާޅުވެއްޖައުމަށްދާނދެން، أمان ކަމާއި، ސަލާމަތްކަން ލިބިގެންވާ ރެޔެކެވެ.
