 މޫނު ބުރުގާ މަނާކުރުމަށް ހުޅަނގުގެ ޤައުމުތަކުން ކުރަމުން ދާ މަސައްކަތް މިއަދު މިވަނީ މެކުހަށް ޖަހައިފައެވެ. އިސްލާމުންނަށް ދަތިކުރުމުގެ ގޮތުން ހުޅަނގުގެ ބައެއް ޤައުމުތަކުން ކުރިޔަށް ގެންދާ ހަރަކާތްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން މިހާރު އެންމެ ބާރަށް ކުރިޔަށް ގެންދާ އެއް ހަރަކާތަކީވެސް މޫނު ބުރުގާ މަނާކުރުމުގެ ކެންޕޭނެވެ. އެގޮތުން ޔޫރަޕުގެ އެންމެ މުސްލިމުން ގިނަ ޤައުމު ކަމުގައިވާ ފްރާންސްގައި މޫނު ބުރުގާ މަނާކުރުމަށްޓަކައި އެންމެ ފަހު ހަރުފަތްތަށް ގިރާކުރަމުން ދާއިރު ސްޕެއިންގެ ބައެއް ސިޓީތަކުގައިވެސް މިހާރު ވަނީ މޫނު ބުރުގާ މަނާކޮށްފައެވެ. އަދި ބައެއް  ޤައުމުތަކުގައި މޫނު ބުރުގާ އަޅައިގެން ބައެއް ތަންތަނަށް ގޮސްފިނަމަ ޖޫރިމަނާކޮށް ޖަލަށް ލާ ގޮތަށް ގާނޫނުތަށް ހަދާ އެއަށް އަމަލުވެސް ކުރަން ވަނީ ފަށައިފައެވެ.

ލިޔުނީ: އައްޝައިޚް އާދަމް ޝަމީމް ބިން އިބްރާހީމް

ދިރިއުޅުމުގައި އެއްބަޔަކު އަނެއްބައެއް ކޮޕީކުރުމަކީ އިންސާނުންގެ ފިޠުރަތުގައި ހުންނަ ކަމެކެވެ. ތަފާތު ފަންނުތަކާއި މަސައްކަތްތަކުގައެވެ. ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ވަސީލަތްތަކުގައާ ޢިލްމީ ހޯދުންތަކާއި ތަޖުރިބާ ތަކުގައި ނަމަ އެއީ މައްސަލައެއްވެސް ނޫނެވެ. ނަމަވެސް މައްސަލައަކީ އާދަކާދައާއި ދީނުގައިވެސް މި އެއްގޮތްވުންތައް ފެތުރެމުންދާ ކަމެވެ.
 

ޝައްކެއްނެތް ގޮތުގައި މުސްލިމުންނަކީ ވަކި ދީނަކާއި ޢަޤީދާއަކާއި ޝަރީޢަތެއް އޮތް ބައެކެވެ. މަތިވެރި އަދަބުތަކަކާއި ރިވެތި އަޚުލާގެއް އޮތް ބައެކެވެ. އަދިކިޔެއް، ދީނާއި ޢަޤީދާ އާއި އަޚްލާގުގެ ގޮތުން ދުނިޔެމަތީގައިވާ އެއްމެ ފުރިހަމަ، އެއްމެ ފުދުންތެރި، އެއްމެ މުސްތަޤިއްލު ބަޔަކީ މުސްލިމުންނެވެ. އެއީ މާތް ﷲ އެކަލާނގެ އެއްމެ ފަހުގެ ރަސޫލާ محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ގެ މައްޗަށް ބާވައިލައްވާފައިވާ މާތްވެގެންވާ އިސްލާމް ދީނުގެ އަހުލުވެރީންނެވެ. މީސްތަކުންގެ ހަވާއާއި އަމިއްލަ އެދުންތަކާއި އޮޅުންބޮޅުންތަކުން ރައްކާތެރިވެފައިވާ ދީނަކީ ހަމަ އެކަނި އިސްލާމްދީން ކަމުގައިވާތީއެވެ.

Ruling on singling out ‘Ashoora for fasting

Is it permissible to fast ‘Ashoora’ only without fasting the day before or the day after?.

Praise be to Allaah.  

Shaykh al-Islam [Ibn Taymiyah] said: Fasting the day of ‘Ashoora’ is expiation for one year, and it is not makrooh to single out this day for fasting. Al-Fataawa al-Kubra, part 5. 

In Tuhfat al-Muhtaaj by Ibn Hajar al-Haythami it says: There is nothing wrong with fasting ‘Ashoora’ on its own. Part 3, Baab Sawm al-Tatawwu’. 

The Standing Committee was asked this question and replied as follows: 

It is permissible to fast the day of ‘Ashoora’ on its own, but it is better to fast the day before it or the day after it. This is the Sunnah that is proven from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), as he said, “If I am still alive next year, I will certainly fast the ninth.” Narrated by Muslim, 1134. 

Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: He meant, along with the tenth. 

And Allaah is the Source of strength.

އާދެ! ހެޔޮކަމުގެ އެއް މޫސުމަށްފަހު އަނެއް މޫސުން އަންނާނޭހެން، ރޭދުވާ ތަކުރާރުވާނޭހެން ﷲ ސުބުޙާނަހޫ ވަތަޢާލާ ލައްވާފައިވުމީ އެކަލާނގެ އަޅުތަކުންގެ މައްޗަށްވާ ބޮޑު ރަޙްމަތެކެވެ. ރަމަޟާންމަހުގެ ރޯދައާއި ރޭ އަޅުކަމުގައި މީސްތަކުން ހޭދަކުރި ދުވަސްތަކަށްފަހުގައި، ޝައްވާލުމަހުގެ ހަރޯދަ ބައްދަލުކުރިއެވެ. ޝައްވާލު މަހުގެ ހަރޯދަ ނިމުމާއެކު، ޙުރުމަތްތެރިވެގެންވާ މައްސަރުތައް ފެށުނީއެވެ. އެއީ ޛުލްޤަޢިދާ މަހާއި، ޛުލްޙިއްޖާ މަހާއި މުޙައްރަމު މަހެވެ. ޛުލްޙިއްޖާ މަހުގެ ދިހަދުވަހުގެ މާތްކަމާއި އައްޔާމުއްތަޝްރީޤުގެ ތިންދުވަހުގެ ތަކްބީރު ތަހްލީލު ކިޔުމުގެ ދުވަސްތަށް ނިމުމާއެކުގައި، ހެޔޮކަމުގެ އަނެއް މޫސުން ބޯމަތިވީއެވެ.

ޢާޝޫރާ ދުވަހަކީ، މާތް ﷲ މޫސާ ޢަލައިހިއްސަލާމު، ފިރްޢައުނުގެ ނުބައިކަމުން މިންޖުކޮށްދެއްވި ދުވަހެވެ. ބަނީ އިސްރާއީލު މީހުންނާއެކުގައި މޫސާގެފާނު ނިކުމެވަޑައިގެން، ކަނޑުގެ އައްސޭރިއަށް ނުކުމެވަޑައިގެންހިނދު، ﷲ ސުބުޙާނަހޫ ވަތަޢާލާ މޫސާގެފާނަށްދެއްވި އެންމެ މަތިވެރި އެއް މުޢުޖިޒާތް ދެއްކެވުނެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ޢަޞާކޮޅުން ޖެއްސެވުމުން ކަނޑު ދެފަޅިވެ، މީސްތަކުން ހުރަސްކުރުމަށް މަގެއް ހެދުނެވެ. އަދި ބަނީ އިސްރާއީލު މީހުން ކަނޑު ހުރަސްކުރުމުން، ފިރުޢައުނާއި އޭނާގެ ލަޝްކަރު ޣަރަޤުވެގެން ދިޔައެވެ.

މިކަމަށްޓަކައި ޔަހޫދީން އެދުވަސްފާހަގަ ކުރުމުގެ ގޮތުން އެދުވަހު ރޯދަހިފައެވެ.  މޫސާގެފާނަށް ލިބިވަޑައިގެންނެވި ކާމިޔާބީއަށްޓަކައި އުފާފާޅުކުރުން އެންމެ އައުލާވެގެންވަނީ މާތް ނަބިއްޔާ މުޙައްމަދު ޞައްލަ ﷲ ޢަލައިހި ވަސައްލަމަ ކަމުގައި ދެކެވަޑައިގެން ސަލާމާއި ޞަލަވާތްލެއްވި އިތުރު އެކަލޭގެފާނު އެދުވަހުގައި ރޯދަ ހިއްޕެވިއެވެ. އަދި ޔަހޫދީންނާ ޚިލާފުވުމުގެ ގޮތުން އެދުވަހުގެ ކުރީން އެއްދުވަސް ނުވަތަ ފަހުން އެއްދުވަހު ރޯދަ ހިފުމަށް އިރުޝާދު ދެއްވެވިއެވެ.

I heard that fasting the day of ‘Ashoora’ expiates for the past year, is this true? 
Does it expiate for everything, even major sins? What is the reason for venerating this day?.

Praise be to Allaah.

  

Firstly: 

Fasting the day of ‘Ashoora’ does expiate for the past year, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Fasting the day of ‘Arafah I hope Allaah will expiate thereby for the year before it and the year after it, and fasting the day of ‘Ashoora’ I hope Allaah will expiate thereby for the year that came before it.” Narrated by Muslim, 1162. This is by the bounty that Allaah bestows upon us, whereby fasting one day expiates for the sins of a whole year. And Allaah is the Owner of great bounty. 

ކައިވެނި ބާއްޖަވެރިވުމަށް އެދޭނަމަ

ލިޔުނީ: އަލްއަޚް މުޙައްމަދު

ކައިވެނި ބާއްޖަވެރިވެ ދެމަފިރިއެއްގެ ދެމެދުގައިވާ ގުޅުން ބަދަހިކޮށް ދެމެހެއްޓުމަށް ބޭނުންވާ އެންމެ މުހިއްމު އެއްކަމަކީ އެދެމެދުގެ ގުޅުން އިޚްލާސްތެރިވުމެވެ. އިޚްލާސްތެރި ގުޅުމަކީ ކޮބައިތޯއެވެ؟ އިޚްލާސްތެރި ގުޅުމަކީ ދެމަފިރިންގެ ދެމެދު އޮންނަ ގާތްކަމެވެ. އިޚްލާސްތެރި ގުޅުމެއްގައި ދެމަފިރިންގެ މުޢާމަލާތްތައް ހުންނާނީ އޮމާންކޮށެވެ. އަދި އެކަކުއަނެކަކު އުފާވާނެ އެންމެހާ ކަންތައް ކުރުމަށް ލޯބިކުރާނެއެވެ. އެއާއެކު އެކަކުއެނެކަކު ދެރަވެދާނެ ނުވަތަ ހިތްހަމަނުޖެހިދާނެ ކަންތައްތަކުން ދުރުވާނެއެވެ. ދެމަފިރިއަކަށް މިމަރުހަލާއަށް އާދެވޭނެ ހަމައެކަނި ގޮތަކީ އެކަކުއަނެކެއްގެ ނަފްސާނީ އަދި ޖިސްމާނީ ބޭނުންތައް ދަނެ، ފުއްދައިދީގެންނެވެ.
ދެމަފިރިންގެ ގުޅުން ހަމަހަމަ ލޯތްބާއި، އިޙްތިރާމާއި އަދި ރަޙްމަތުގެ ތެރޭގައި ދެމެހެއްޓުމަށްޓަކައި ފިރިމީހާ އާއި އަބިމީހާ، ދެމީހުންގެ ހައްޤުތަކާއި، ޒިންމާތަކާއި، ސިފަތައް އިސްލާމްދީން ވަނީ ވަރަށް ތަފްސީލްކޮށް އިރުޞާދުކުރައްވާ ކަޑައަޅުއްވާފައެވެ. ތިރީގައި މިބަޔާންކުރަނީ ކައިވެނީގެ އިޚްލާސްތެރި ގުޅުން ރައްކާތެރިކޮށް ދެމެހެއްޓުމަށް މަގުދައްކާނެ އެންމެ މުހިއްމު އިސްލާމީ ސިފަތަކެވެ.

Praise be to Allaah,

Allah’s sacred month of Muharram is a blessed and important month. It is the first month of the Hijri calendar and is one of the four sacred months concerning which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Verily, the number of months with Allaah is twelve months (in a year), so it was ordained by Allaah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are sacred. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein…” [al-Tawbah 9:36]

Praise be to Allaah. 

Astrology, horoscopes, superstition and fortune-telling are all actions of jaahiliyyah (ignorance) which Islam came to show as false and to explain that they are shirk, because they involve depending on something other than Allaah and believing that benefit and harm come from something other than Him, and believing the words of fortune-tellers and soothsayers who falsely claim to have knowledge of the unseen in order to cheat people of their money and change their beliefs. The evidence (daleel) for that is the hadeeth narrated by Abu Dawood in his Sunan with a saheeh isnaad from Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever learns anything of astrology has learned a branch of witchcraft (al-sihr)…” And al-Bazzaar narrated with a jayyid isnaad from ‘Imraan ibn Husayn that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “He is not one of us who practises augury or has it done for him, who tells fortunes or has his fortune told, or who practises witchcraft or has that done for him.” Whoever claims to know some matter of the unseen either is a fortune-teller or is acting like a fortune-teller in some sense, because Allaah is the only One Who has knowledge of the unseen. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning);

“Say: ‘None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghayb (Unseen) except Allaah…’”

 My advice to everyone who has anything to do with these matters is to repent to Allaah and ask for His forgiveness, and to depend only on Allaah and to put their trust in Him in all their affairs, whilst following the practical means that are prescribed or permitted in sharee’ah. They should give up these matters of jaahiliyyah, keep away from them and avoid asking the people who practise them or believe what they say, out of obedience to Allaah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and in order to protect his commitment to Islam and his ‘aqeedah (religious belief).

Cameroon village converts to Islam, thanks to king’s humanitarian gesture

An operation to separate a pair of Cameroonian conjoined twins, conducted by Health Minister Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has eventually led to the conversion of an entire Cameroonian village to Islam.
This was revealed by a dignitary from the African state, Sultan Omar, during a visit to Al-Rabeeah at the Mina Emergency Hospital. The twins, Rahima and Hamidah, were separated in April 2007.
"The successful operation conducted by Al-Rabeeah has led to the chief and members of the whole tribe of my home village Banky, estimated to be home to 1,100 people, and many others from other parts of Cameroon to embrace Islam spontaneously and without any pressure. They were all moved by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah’s humanitarian gesture,” he said.
Omar was accompanied by a delegation of 26 Cameroonian Muslim converts in a courtesy visit to express gratitude to Al-Rabeeah. “We not only owe it to Al-Rabeeah, we also owe it to King Abdullah who ordered for the twins to be separated at his personal expense. This was a humanitarian gesture that we all saw,” he said.
Omar requested Al-Rabeeah to convey his and his accompanying delegation’s gratitude to King Abdullah.
Omar and his delegation, who are performing Haj as guests of King Abdullah, praised the Kingdom’s Haj services. They also thanked the Kingdom for helping Cameroon, particularly with the building of a number of mosques, a dam and a wheat project.

Kaaba key keeper passes away at 82

Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheibi, the keeper of the Holy Kaaba’s key, passed away Sunday (7th November 2010) morning. He was 82. His body was buried in the Maalla cemetery after funeral prayers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

Al-Sheibi family has been holding the position of the Kaaba key keeper since the time of jahiliya (pre-Islamic period). It was inherited by the eldest member of the family and did not transfer from father to son. Age was the basis for the key’s inheritance.

އައްޝައިޚް މުޙައްމަދު އަލްޢަރީފީ އަށް، ކެނެޑާގައި ދިރިއުޅޭ މުސްލިމް (ޢަރަބި) ޑޮކްޓަރެއް ކިޔާދިން ކަމަށް، ޝައިޚު ކިއުއްވާ ދެއްވިއެވެ.

’އަހަރެން، ޑޮކްޓަރުކަމުގެ ކޯހުގައި ފުރިހަމަ ކުރަން ޖެހޭ ޢަމަލީ ތަޖުރިބާގެ ބައި ފުރިހަމަ ކުރުމަށްޓަކައި ހޮސްޕިޓަލެއްގައި މަސައްކަތް ކުރީމެވެ. އެއްދުވަހެއްގައި، (އަދައިގެ މަތިން) އަހަރެން އެ ހޮސްޕިޓަލަށް ދިޔައީމެވެ. އަދި” އައި.ސީ.ޔޫ“ (އިންޓެންސިވް ކެއަރ ޔުނިޓް) އަށް ވަނީމެވެ. އަދި އަހަރެންނަށް ކުރަން ޖެހޭ މަސައްކަތް ކަމުގައިވާ، އެތަނުގައި އެޑްމިޓް ކުރެވިފައިވާ މީހުންގެ ޙާލާއި، އެމީހުންގެ ރިޕޯރޓްތައް ޗެކްކުރުން ފަދަ ކަންތައްތައް ކުރަން ފެށީމެވެ. މިހެން މިކަން ކުރަމުންދަނިކޮށް އަހަރެންގެ ނަޒަރު ހުއްޓުނީ އެތަނުން އެނދެއްގައި ބާއްވާފައި އޮތް، ޢުމުރުން އެކާވީސް އަހަރުގެ ފިރހެން ކުއްޖަކަށެވެ. އޭނާގެ ނަމަކީ މުޙައްމަދު އެވެ. އަދި އޭނާގެ ނަމުން އެނގޭ ގޮތުގައި އޭނާ އަކީ މުސްލިމެކެވެ  .
